Few things are more satisfying than to stand before a work of art and be engaged both emotionally and intellectually. Art that can do that will often take us to some place beyond ourselves or someplace deep within ourselves—maybe both. My paintings are a feeble attempt to accomplish both. I am interested in simple subjects which, through the play of shadow and light, sun and clouds, earth and sky, achieve something transcendent or numinous. Come join me on my journey..
